Péter Gál has nearly two decades of experience in corporate finance and investment management. He began his career in commercial banking, where he worked on corporate and project finance transactions, before assuming senior roles in large-scale investment transactions and the management of investment funds. Effective 25 July 2026, he was appointed as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MFB Invest. Prior to his appointment, he served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer of MFB Invest, where, in addition to overseeing the company's day-to-day operations, he was responsible for the preparation and execution of new investments, as well as preserving and enhancing the value of the existing investment portfolio.
He played a key role in launching the Housing Capital Programme an initiative implemented through 19 fund managers to support the expansion of Hungary's housing supply. His work is characterized by a comprehensive strategic approach, a disciplined focus on building investment portfolios, and a strong commitment to enhancing the international competitiveness of Hungarian companies.
